FawkesLink combines high-frequency charging data with battery models and diagnostic algorithms to estimate key health parameters such as State of Health (SoH), Remaining Useful Life (RUL) and performance. The methodology is designed to deliver decision-grade battery intelligence without requiring laboratory testing or battery disassembly.
FawkesLink is designed to be chemistry- and OEM-agnostic. Support is enabled at the vehicle/battery-model level, allowing the platform to work across multiple EV manufacturers, battery pack architectures and lithium-ion chemistries. Currently we support 2W and 3W.
No battery removal or dismantling is required. FawkesLink connects externally to the vehicle/battery and performs the assessment during a controlled charging session, typically generating a battery health report in approximately 60 minutes.
The report converts battery data into decision-ready metrics including SoH, expected remaining life, resale price, range prediction, and asset-level health insights. Depending on the use case, these insights can support resale, financing, warranty, insurance and fleet decisions.
A BMS is primarily designed to operate and protect the battery, not independently assess its long-term health or economic value. FawkesLink provides an independent diagnostic layer that analyses battery behaviour using advanced measurements, models and algorithms - providing insights beyond the values reported by the onboard BMS.
FawkesLink is designed with secure data collection, transmission and access controls across the diagnostic workflow. Customer and asset data remains segregated and is used only for authorised battery assessment and intelligence workflows, with deployment and data-handling requirements configurable for enterprise customers.
FawkesLink is designed to be completely non-intrusive and plug-and-play. It connects externally without opening, modifying or dismantling the battery pack, altering the BMS, or changing vehicle firmware. The assessment is read-only from the vehicle's perspective and does not interfere with normal battery operation.
